A sauna range can look simple at the category level and become complicated at the quotation stage. The product may be a room, a tent, a blanket or a stove; the customer may want a stock model, a private label version or a structural OEM change. Use one checklist to keep the commercial and technical details aligned.
If those six items are not decided, the factory can still recommend a model, but the quotation will contain more assumptions. A useful enquiry gives the supplier enough context to suggest one model instead of sending the entire catalogue.
Confirm capacity or dimensions, heat source, controller and accessory quantity. A two-person steam room may use two steamers or one, depending on the configuration. A tent needs a stove and chimney set that fit its port. A blanket needs the correct controller, cables and carry bag. Compare the complete kit, not the hero product alone.
Ask whether the MOQ applies per model, colour, logo or carton. Confirm whether a sample is required and how long approval will take. This range confirms sampling at 7–15 days from the final specification and mass production at 25–45 days depending on the model mix. Those stages belong in one plan; a production date that starts before sample approval is not reliable.
The current compliance package includes EMC, LVD, FCC SDoC and RoHS documents for the sauna blanket range. Ask for the documents that apply to the exact product and market you are buying. For private label, approve the shell, bag and carton artwork together. For export, confirm the packed dimensions, carton count and handling requirements before booking freight.
Send the checklist with the enquiry. The fastest quotation is not the one with the fewest questions; it is the one where both sides are using the same approved scope.
Buyers working across more than one format should start with one lead model and one supporting SKU. That creates a manageable sample, carton and freight plan while leaving room for a second model after the first line has a clear market. Tell us the market, model and quantity and we will turn the checklist into a specification and quote.
